A warm and welcoming space where little ones can play, explore and use their imaginations, while parents relax and enjoy a coffee, cake or snack — all while keeping their little ones within sight.
Our soft play and roleplay village includes dinosaurs, builders, café, kitchen, dolls house, doctors, vets and fancy dress, giving children plenty to discover, imagine and enjoy.

At Friends & Babies Play Café, our mission is to create a welcoming, inclusive space where little ones can play, explore and make friends while grown-ups relax and connect. We’re passionate about making play accessible for all children, including those with additional needs, with SEN-friendly spaces and quieter sessions designed to help every family feel comfortable and included. 🤍

Friends & Babies was created by two mums who wanted somewhere we would genuinely love to bring our own little ones — somewhere welcoming, beautiful and relaxed, where children can enjoy safe, exciting play and grown-ups can enjoy the moment too.
Safe and Enjoyable Play
We’ve worked hard to create a play space that’s fun, engaging and suitable for little ones to enjoy with their parents and carers close by. A place for climbing, exploring, imaginative play and making happy memories together.

Because grown-ups deserve a treat too. Enjoy quality coffees, hot and cold drinks, delicious sweet treats and a selection of savoury bites while your little ones play nearby.
Community Connections
This part means so much to us. We want Friends & Babies to be somewhere every family feels welcome — including families of children with SEN and additional needs. We know how important it is to have somewhere you can simply be yourself, without feeling judged, rushed or needing to explain. Through our SEN-friendly approach and Little Calm sessions, we hope to build a supportive little community where children are celebrated for exactly who they are and parents feel they belong too. 🤍

We do have 3 spaces available in front of the Café and free parking is available at the Euro Car Parks car park located approximately a 1-minute walk from Friends & Babies, with up to 3 hours free parking.
